Inert

Inert

A Poem by Caboj

Once a boy,
Always a man.
Becoming such takes countless breaths,
Countless regrets, and untrained attempts.
Tell me what you want to see.
Tell me I'm the diagnosis of your symphony.
Tell me I can unwind your consciousness.
Tell me I can relinquish this affliction.

Startlingly honest and raw. Unrealistic expectations of what it means to be a man. Extremely well expressed.
