Love & Hate once met

at a convenient place.

They whispered

They yelled

They spoke until the night

turned pale.

Then they left,

neither would witness

the other's last breath.

So much pain & regret but

both to stubborn to lay difference

to rest.

Is your poem giving us the message that love and hate are two things that are different but not inseparable and thus fated to belong together or do you wants us to remind that love & hate are two things that will always be in conflict?
