Tales Of Ancient Greece : The Mighty Stupid

Tales Of Ancient Greece : The Mighty Stupid

A Story by Cynthia Wolff

Apollo was showing off his sun chariot to the other Gods as it shone and shimmered with gold and gems to his delight.
His boasts grew bold as did his insults to the irritation of the other Gods who loathed him greatly.
He then bade farewell, flexed his huge muscles and ran his fingers through his golden curly hair only to have his chariot remain completely still even though he urged his steeds forth.
The Gods began to laugh hysterically as Hermes shouted out "Try taking off the brake oh smart one."
