Walking the Moment's Edge

Walking the Moment's Edge

A Poem by Corey
"

A poem about being in shock

"

I walk the edge of a moment

And stare in at its tumultuous core

Unrestrained, unaccounted for

Until I draw my eyes from it

And suddenly it fits

It fits in with the rest

Like it didn’t belong there

But did all the same

And the moment becomes the reason

Calm, regenerating, real
