Cycles

A Poem by Corey
"

My best work to date. Please review it. Oof! I'm excited :) I didn't know I had this in me!

"

Cycles

Bend a rhyme, twist a verse

Slay the moment, hail the hearse

Fill your heart with selfless greed

Honor those who watch you bleed

Know your self, know your craft

Cast astern, continue aft

Laugh at life, rejoice in death

Find your place and lose your breath

Run with sloths, sink to swim

Fly with rocks against the wind

Shelter storms with Mother Earth

We're born to die, and err at birth
