The Skeleton's DanceA Poem by C.S.John
The skeleton dances, his bones fly around,
He takes off to leave and to never be bound. He carelessly flies and can't come back down, While dancing he looses his skeleton gown. The skeleton dances, he leaps and he prances, He thinks he's aware of his upcoming chances, So he turns and he swirls; he thinks he's alone And that nobody knows how to dance to his song. The skeleton dances and doesn't look back, He wants me to gather his bones in a sack, He wants me to shove all his dust in a pan; And the skeleton dances as long as he can.
