The Dueler’s Gambit

The Dueler’s Gambit

A Poem by RaeVinn

Six chambers with one in the hole.

Play to play, maybe go a full round.

                                 Luck.......Same.

Six turns at death, Six spins of the chamber for a man.

Loose and you're dead, win and don't lose your head.

                      Sudden death and into overtime.

Add a bullet and one less chance to live.

Spin the chamber and squeeze one off.

Lucky man win. Unlucky, and you lose your mind.

                               One winner. One loser.

                            Easy to tell the difference.
