Enough!
These sedated
intrusions
harboring
against
my existence.
Help me
understand
unwanted thoughts
that choke
my emotions.
No longer
will I succumb
the voice
of my abuser.
Today ends
the silence.

The short staccato lines made the whole piece come across even stronger than the words were already. The reader feels the powerful meanings behind each idea, leading to a conclusion about the feelings of oppression. wonderful :)
