TO A LIFE WORTH LIVING

TO A LIFE WORTH LIVING

A Poem by C.O.B

Oh what a beautiful thing it would be to live
to seize those moments that life gives us daily.
Yet our perceptions shape the way we travel through this fragile life.

So what would happen if we jumped
What would happen if we ran
What would happen if we lied for laugher
or we broke rules to make memories,
you see these are the thoughts that keep me awake.
My life is at stake, for I will not waste it.
It needs to be lived

And I now need to live it.

I’m on the edge of something,
And I can hear the bottom call,
to take a breath and face my fear,
and journey through the fall.

For it’s not the impact at the end
that shapes the man I am
but rather the fall through frantic space
and the journey before I land.
