The Break-Up Letter

So the thing is that I don't know if is you or I, but I think we need to break-up. 

Let me tell you that when I saw you, it was love at first sight. I knew right then, that this was the beginning of a unique kind of love - An epic kind. 

Time went by and I started to like it more and more. Not only because of us, but it was this epic love that made me so strong.

But as time went on, history began to shape. It was then that little by little I started to realize; this wasn't the same! Every day, stuck I was - waiting for a sign that would make me believe again. Instead my days brought sad news, about a new storm that was coming on my way.

And although I have to admit! There were some very nice sunny days that made me fall in love with you all over again. You always threw us back in the storm, and destroyed everything.

What I am trying to say is that; you never let me taste the sweetness of the sunshine. Believe me, I don't mind the tough times. But the point is that you don’t see what I see! I used to believe this was an epic kind of love and that no matter how many storms we crossed, there was this love to make us hold.

But is your hand that slips away and makes me doubt, as I start to understand that is you the one looking for a way out. Because every time there is a bit of happiness, you throw me down and tell me that another big storm is coming.

I'm always going to believe that this was an epic kind of love! But I don't know if it’s you, me or the pain that causes every storm, that I realize that one of us have to let go!
