Obnoxious SilenceA Poem by C.M. Waters
I hear the silence
ringing and ringing like a siren that will not cease. All my troubles consuming my soul, clawing their way into my grand desires as I stare blankly at the white walls of this prison I call home. I must let out my emotion. I must release my troubles and cleanse my soul before it turns me into the monster I fear to face. But who will hear it? Who will respond to my emotion in written form? Who will answer all the questions continuously flowing into my mind, one after another, when it is only me and the obnoxious silence?
