What I Hate

This is a poem I wrote when I was about 12 years old. It was to my older sister who was to busy to ever give me the time of day. Yet, I still loved her so much.

I hate it when you don't care how I feel,

I hate it when it's my heart that you steal,

I hate it when you tell mea lie,

I hate it when you always make me cry,

I hate it when you don't listen to what I have to say,

I hate it when you always make me walk away,

I hate it when I cant talk to you,

I hate it when you say in a few,

I hate it because I can't hate you,

I hate it because you know it's true,

I hate the fact that I love you,

And I always will no matter what you do.

wow, a twelve year old writting such a good poem thats marvelous.

I hate it when i only get to read it now...,
our heart are the most fragile of our bodies, i also realy do hate it when they brake..but scars are lessons learnt so we fix no blemishes...

I hate lies, but i lie so lately i make peace with them.

Loving someone who always lead a bright day to a teary night is very toxic...i'd rather walk away but i hate walking away from the burning love...thats what love does to us it leaves us confused...

I respect this 12 year old for picking up such a poem.

Thank you, at heart I was not 12. By the time I reached 12 years old I had already seen the world from darkened eyes. But that just helped the beauty stand out so easily when I looked at the world through my own eyes. I see beauty in everyone, I forgive everyone, I love everyone. I will just never understand why no one loves me. However god loves me so that alone is enough most of the time.
