EndgameA Poem by Chenin Marie
Isn't it lovely this charade we endorse
When we refuse to let go once loves run its course Youre just a pawn but I'm only a rook An empty stem with a stamen after the petals you took But there are plenty of bees left to pollinate me And numerous sharks still left in the sea I'll bloom once again, won't care if its spring For all the love I've had, hasn't meant a thing © 2016 Chenin MarieReviews
