Common CollectiveA Poem by Chenin Marie
They define themselves with flashy cars, new technology and trendy bars. The depths of their minds are anything but deep, surface people living life while they sleep. But I refuse to give up. I refuse to give in and I find myself infatuated with their idea of sins. I don't listen to their judgement, they will always critique because they are intimidated by anything unique. They are threatened by anything different, so when I speak my mind they refuse to listen. I find myself between the planets and stars, I embrace who I am while they deny who they are.
