Revisiting DaisyA Poem by C.M GroganMy interpretation of the cover of The Great Gatsby. She is
somewhere in the sky Her eyes
a flaming yellow Beautiful
and unforgettable, But sad
and never to tell why Once,
she was thought to be obtainable But
really, she was already gone. Having
taken with her an irretrievable mystery Look to
her and the vast night, How she
blurs the city lights With her
sadness and longing And the
glistening of a single tear drop. © 2015 C.M GroganAuthor's Note
