Loneliness

Describes what loneliness looks like and the yearnings it brings....but it's from a SPECIAL point of view...

Walking alone,

on a long dark road.

Nothing lays ahead nor behind,

everything is so dark.

things have started to lose there meaning.

A dull throb starts to form,

where your heart should be.

Confusion clouds your mind,

while your soul is blinded by pain.

A deep yearning has been planted,

deep inside your shell.

Wanting something you’ve never known or held,

only deep contempt.

 Thinking it only existed in the mind,

‘Love’

to mend this broken soul.

Fragment by tiny little fragment,

to save you from this hell that you endure.

So maybe you will rest,

or to find a companion that you never knew could be real.

Though you think,

that it's impossible for that to happen to you.

But you can't stop the yearning,

which makes the pain all the more sweeter.

You can taste it on your lips

So you trick yourself into thinking

"I don't need anyone else"

Deep in your soul

You know it's a lie

So you keep trying to find

what you're searching for

in all the wrong places.

And you begin to think

"I guess this just isn't for me"

You give up

and decide to just revel in these feelings.

Because you have nowhere else to go,

I'll be your constant companion

'til you meet your end.
