Lost

Lost

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

Shining bright
In the bask of your light
I feel the warmth of day
Ways for your heart to say
How you care for me
This I clearly see
But then night dawns
What I knew is gone
In the depths of the cold
Feeling the scold
From a place I know that is different
I'm lost and not found
Because you aren't around
Needing to be rescued
From this hell of a venue
An encompassing abyss
A never ending eclipse
Defeated and confused
This darkness it consumes
I know it can end
Because loves transcends
Not asking for much
But a simple loving touch

I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
