Without

Without

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

A day without
Would slowly fade
Cause my heart to decay
Leave my dreams bitter
From an undaunting winter
Would take it's toll
Upon my mind and soul
Rather be with you in the darkness
Than experience the harshness
Of not feeling
Love's true healing
The suffering of hell
I never want to be able to tell
Being in your presence
Still feeling your essence
Is better than being alone
So, For you I atone
Always strive
To keep you and I alive
For us I'm devout
Because you, I can't go without

About
I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
