My dream

My dream

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

Every dream
Has a theme
A manifesto
Something to bestow
A solemn prayer
Asking to be spared
From a nightmare
From great despair
So we sleep
To catch a peep
Of this fantasy
A longing reality
But what if, when I doze
I expose
That my dream is not
Where I have been taught
So I awake
And suddenly partake
My dream looking at me
It's you, all I see

About
I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
