Mother's Day

Mother's Day

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

Twenty-four hours
Is it enough to shower?
Someone who has done
What no others, none
A person who devotes and demands
Keeps you afloat and reprimands
Their love knows no bound
Even though they sometimes frown
Their attention can drown
Their input reasonable and sound
They stick by and are always around
For all this they are renown
For being like no other
For being our mother
They drive us balmy
Cuz they are our mommy
Never lacking in psalms
Always and forever, mom

I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
