Father

Father

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

Your first mentor
The first defender
To support you
Whatever you go through
Always there as a rock
Putting faith in your stock
Someone to guide
Someone who resides
Always in your corner
One you can refer
The first to scold
Your greatest stronghold
The first in armor
Your first lover
The epitome of a man
To you a superman
A regular joe, but to you
Not no schmoe, it's true
To you the most complete
Your father, no one can compete

I'm just a regular guy. I like writing short letters and poems describing my emotions. I can be intense, whether it's positive or negative. I seem to suffer from insomnia alot. more..
