Will

Will

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

The mental faculty
To face gallantly
Anything put forth
Anything unearthed
To test one's conviction
Overcome crucifixion
Balance out the fear
Stand fast and persevere
Firm and Faithful
Always ever able
It uses might
To vanquish blight
In blinding fright
Fear can't escape its sight
The shinning light
In darkest night
Is never nil
Because of Will
