Horsepower

Horsepower

A Poem by Caleb Aquilino

The power and muscle
It has no rebuttle
Nothing is like it
Everyone has to admit
The overwhelming deluge
It's hard to find refuge
From the wonderment
From the allurement
Never is there enough
You can't have too much of this stuff
The twisting revolutions
The attributed resolution
That comes with an increase
It's like a shade of vivid cerise
The shock value, it's virtue
Never fails to ring true
It's very rambunctious
It can even be luscious
Something sought after
It always brings along swagger
The capability
The volatility
Stirs great sentiment
Along with decadence
When it's great it devours
Nothing is like Horsepower
