Your GhostA Poem by Caleb Aquilino
Sometimes I wish I never met
The woman that I knew and kept Close to me She consumed and loved me, it seemed to be That she was an angel sent To save me and lift me up, but then she went Vanished as a dream, she was a hallucination A mirage, ending up to be an apparition Now I'm left, with the image of Someone that never really was Haunting my very existence and mind Wishing fate and destiny to be kind To bring this evocative woman back Saving me from this heartache and hell That I have created, please tell There is a chance she exists Don't say this is a chanced missed I need the ghost of you To be genuine and true © 2015 Caleb Aquilino |
