Alright! And Then we Dance.

Alright! And Then we Dance.

A Poem by CLou Narvaez
"

It's alright to be me.

"
And then we dance.
No 911.
I was just having fun.
The music was blaring.
The laughter was real.
The temptress of movement told me...
" Don't you sit still."

Please give a rhythm.
A bit of a tune.
Slow it down Baby.
I've been craving the blues.
Singing my heart out.
Putting on my suede shoes
It's time to groove.
Speed up the tempo.
Try spilling the good
Upbeat news.

We were made for laughter.
We must celebrate.
Ride life to it's fullest.
For now it's all great.
Thank all the networking.
The many faces I see
Won't be here tomorrow.
But tonight........
Tonight.......
I AM FREE!

Walking with Angels,
Blessings that be.......tonight...
We gather to do the flow of life's water.
Pending moments that engrave the soul.
No time for fear.
It's a time to be bold.
Sweat streaming down elated faces.

My cartoon heroes are real.
Just look at their grace.
Not a spilled tear of sadness.
But of joys fill this place.
So tonight.
I will feel "the let's dance."
Do that timeless known magic prance.
Maybe not tomorrow.
So tonight....... Just tonight.
Can't you see.
If just for tonight....
It's alright to be me.
