August is upon us
So glowingly beautiful
August is among us
With Autumn and Summer competing

As the god and goddess bless it

And the leaves turn red and green

So beautiful it is when
August is upon us!

August is upon us,
oh, merry it is to say!

August is upon us,
in every single way

Lughnasadh is on the first day of August,
such a wonderful glorious holiday

When you say, "Blessed Lughnasadh!" to everybody,
hey-hey-hey-hey
