Notes to Persephone

Note 25

Draft 1

By: Chase L. Currie

I tied my boots at your grave

Dip my pen in your blackness

Inked out your name on the stone

Left my broken soul there

The Raven peeked at was left of this heart

All I could do was move on

Another mile to go

Back into the sweet night

Filling with deepening Blues.
