Note Thirty-ThreeA Poem by CLCurrieI wanted to go Somewhere nice For

light But I found an abandoned Park bench Behind the weeping trees With their snow like flowers The sun smiled between all But the heat never touched My cheeks The chill winds Of a sore winter Begging for April’s snows Took my hand Even the numbing cold Felt misplace In the emptiness of my Chest I wished to love The wind The light playing games with The fairies as the Nisse Grumbles

pick up A book of gothic thrills To find sorrows of the undead Forgetting
the hole In
me - I wanted to go Somewhere nice © 2020 CLCurrie |
