Note Thirty-Two

By: Chase L. Currie

Tennyson's gave me

A flower with you name sealed into it

The thorns bite my

Indifferent gaze

A drop of cardinal delight

Came forth

I wept at the

Sight of it

"Why?" Tennyson's asked

In utter dread

For I was her

John and her Judas.
