Love & Hate

Love & Hate

A Poem by CK_85
"

A poem that is akin to the style of Flipped by Wendelin van Draanen.

"
She was my true love
He was my true hate
How could one not admire her?
How could one not loathe him?
With perfect silk hair
With repulsive hair
And amazing glistening eyes
And horrendous needy eyes
She makes a Goddess seem like a peasant
He makes peasants seem like Gods
Our relationship was 2 months of bliss
Our relationship was 2 months of holding back
And another 7 of abuse
And another 7 of bliss
But I still loved her
But I still hated him
I loved her throughout the pain
I loved giving him the pain
The sorrow
The sorrow
The hatred
The hatred
If I could do one thing differently
If I could do one thing differently
I would wish that we never broke up
I would wish that we never made up

Very nice poem depicting two point of views ( of Girl and Boy )..Very beautifully written. How relationship can mean to people involved in it is depicted wonderfully here ..For one it was bliss for other it was torture.
Nicely penned, CK_85 !
