I wish i was a turtle

I wish i was a turtle

A Poem by CJScrawls

I wish I was a turtle
I wish I was a turtle.
Small and sound.
Tough skin.
A heart that never stops beating.
Swimming from seas to oceans.
Hovering and sleeping.
Into the wild.
I wish I was a turtle.
Slow and Blissful.
Fast life is dull.
Can't the moments be put on hold?
Can't we enjoy every frame of life?
Constricted thoughts.
Riptide collision.
I wish I was a turtle.
No concern for society.
Fame, royalty and luxury.
I do not seek.
Self-love and self-care.
Craziness till deathbed.
I wish only to be a turtle.
Wild and free.

Such a cute and wholesome poem! I love 'riptide collision', that's a really interesting line. I think we should all aspire to be a little bit more turtle-like :')

Well it feels good to hear from poets when they understand the vibe. I am in awe.
Yes, a turtle does have a nice long life! Cute poem!

Your welcome! 😉
A nice little poem, but even turtles have their problems. When I was in China, turtle soup??? I declined, but there it was on the menu.
