Blind

Blind

A Poem by Decdreams87

“Touch me,”
The blind man said to him.
“I want to see you through your skin.”
When sight is lost, love is stronger.
Stronger than the pump of a heart worth feeling.
Depend on soul;
And how rapid the blood, through the veins, will flow.

He asked the blind man,
“Can you see me?”
As he touched.
The blind man smiled
And spoke not a word.

A literal blindness causes
A sense of change that only matters to the ones who know.
Who have felt… all of this…
I choose to be blind.
I choose to feel your love.
Sense it out and let it become a part of me.
Because when you touch me…
I can’t see.
