This Boy

There once was a boy
He went by RDB
I loved him, and he loved me

He had a smile that was brighter than the moon that took him
His laugh echoed farther than then the wolf that watched

He was loved by many and brought many smiles
Yet, one day he was called away
Called far away
Far away from all who loved him
Called away from me

He was very excited to go
To see this place and it's things
But, as for me I was less than ecstatic

But, I supported him and he went
As my heart slowly shattered, I smiled
I let the land take him from me

Now, I wait
Hoping
Hoping he will come back for me
Come back and love me
Put my heart back together
Come back and be my RDB
