Do Not Take

Do Not Take

A Poem by Charlie's Enigmatic Wren

How dare you.
How dare you!
Your audacity.
Your presumption.
That we would capitulate.
That we would surrender,
To this, your attempt at expunction.
We are light.
We are light!
And you- you are nothing but desolation.
You will not prevail.
You will fall!
We will not succumb to your attempted annihilation.
We will fight.
We will fight!
As day turns to day.
And as night turns to night.
Your vileness we will overcome.
And you - you monster
Will be undone.
We are free.
We are free!
And you- you are chained to the devil.
He has you in his hell devoured.
He has you in his inferno a slave.
In your fate, we are empowered.
