Fun hockey poem- just wrote it minutes ago!

Stanley ice cup
game one 2013

Black and white
a feather flies
across the ice
It is in the eyes
of a hawk
Tallons blade
with SHARP precision
a goal is made.

Just wrote this on a whim while watching the Chicago Black Hawks fight to take the first Stanley Cup game from the Boston Bruins- game going on right now... Hawks 1 , Bruin 2 second half. Sorry, no illustration for this one as I am busy watching the game. For those who are not aware, Patrick Sharp is one of the Hawks star players. Cheers!

i take it you are a hawks fan...i'm not particularly...i like the canadians...but i do like the hawks okay and am pulling for them...i am not originally from illinois even though i live here now...so not big on most chicago teams except the cubbies...but what an exciting game that was.

Hockey is not my sport of choice but these two teams make it pretty exciting! Gotta love the Cubs because of Wriggly field- that place makes the beer taste better somehow! Cheers!
