Forever by my side

Forever by my side

A Poem by CDoh
"

Pretty self explanitory

"
Its good to have a mother
who hugs me when im sad,
A mother who can understand
when im a little mad.

A mother who wont won't change her ways
unlike the oceans tide,
A mother who provides a warmth
when the sun has left my side.

Its good to have a mother
with all these lovely things,
but to have one without the other
tears an emptiness deep within.

That's why im glad i have a father
who holds my head up high,
who if ever i dripped a single tear
would lend a sleeve to dry.

provides a heart thats full of love
and a pair of arms to fall,
who occupies a pair of ears
that transform all my whispers to calls.

he doesn't ever judge me
although at times he should,
he accepts and doesn't change me
constantly reminds me he never would.

i'm caught in the curse of their smiles
never debate the true feeling of love,
mould my life throught the depths of their wisdom
these are two of the few that i love.

they are the air that fils my lungs
the blood that fills my veins,
the energy that fuels my being
the bones that construct my frame.

my love, my fuel, my frame, my life
they are my everything,
my angels sent from heaven
they wrap me i their wings.

id sacrifice for the ones i love
give my life without a thought,
i handed them a brain to mould
life's lessons what they taught.

in a way they're my religion
in them's where i believe,
everyday im told they love me
and not once was i deceived.

the main source of my protection
place a shelter on my head,
they feed my growing body
provide the comfort of a bed.

they're the reason for my smile
the hop thats in my step,
the tingle in my stomach
the reason my palms sweat.

i know they'll never change they're ways
unlike the oceans tide,
a life time standing hand in hand
forever by my side.

this is gorgeous.
you, like me, are so so lucky to have parents like this. i feel just the same way about my beautiful, inspiring mother and father and couldn't've put it better myself.
