Sandra's AngelA Poem by Carrie Montgomery~for my Dear Friend, Sandra, maybe you'll finally find some peace. She bows her head to God every night to pray asking Him to heal her heart and take the pain away But she awakens every day to the same loneliness and grief nothing that she has tried has ever brought relief
God will heal her heart, but in His own time Nothing she may say or do will make Him change His mind
Until God chooses to heal her, I'll be by her side I'll help her find her way, I'll happily be her guide She can cry upon my shoulder, I don't mind her tears And I will try to comfort her, in all her times of fear
She herself once held me up, she was an angel for me so... until she's whole and can stand alone her angel is what I'll be © 2008 Carrie MontgomeryFeatured Review
