WESA Story by Carrie Montgomery~ from a journal I kept when my 13 yr old was a baby. Just felt like sharing.
Wednesday June 7, 1995
Wesley was six months old Saturday. Time is moving much too fast! He was born and I must have blinked, because six months came and went- half a year! I just realized how precious time is...all too soon he will be pushing me away, trying to be his own person, instead of crying for me and clinging to me for comfort. ...I am watching him play.He has "discovered" a piece of paper and is exploring all possibilities. He has crumpled it over and over, frowning at the strange and wonderful sound of it- then a small squeek of delight. He passes it from hand to hand(this is something new: the hand to hand passing). The stern look of concentration that crosses his face is almost comical. So intent on figuring this strange thing out, he has forgotten all else. Even the treasured ,bright ,soft buttons on the remote! © 2008 Carrie MontgomeryAuthor's Note
