Lost Little GirlA Poem by Carrie Montgomerywritten to my family, on the day I tried to commit suicide. Ten years ago. BiPolar disorder is dangerous when not treated.
Momma, your little girl is lost and she'll rid herself of sadness at any cost she hopes you understand that no one is at fault she just never found the sanctuary she saught
Daddy, your little girl is lost and she will shed her burden at any cost although at times you were absent she doesn't blame you this is just something she feels desparate to do
Brothers, your big sister is lost too many times those lines she has crossed loneliness and heartache have taken over this time I'm afraid she won't recover
Little sisters, big sister is lost and she will rid herself of her grief no matter what the cost
this lost little girl is tired and must sleep and when she is gone you must not weep this pain and sadness is too much to bear her heart is broken beyond repair it's too cruel a world in which to live and so her life she will give
Oh, Momma...your little girl is lost
