This one hit home! We had one recovered not five miles from my house today. They had the girl's mother on the TV as she got the phone call. Her only question after finding out her child was okay was "Where do I need to go to get her?" No questions about distance, just where. Great work!
the title of this is what dragged me. it was different, and posed a thought and image in my head.
i can't actually evoke with the topic here, but in terms of the poetics, it is kept short, and in that space, it does give out the message it was meant to. the loss, the sense of worry, lack of understanding etc. the shortness keeps it vague. words can't describe perhaps?
i have a few critiques, but given the topic, i feel them irrelevant anyway.
I felt every word that you have spoken! I can see you have a deep mind and heart and I wish to see more people like you speak about this subject! Great write sweetie and I hope this gets out to everyone! One luv Miss Carrie! :)

Your poem captures the universal feeling, we all feel when a love one goes missing. Whether, its a child, sibling, parent or a lover. The dreaded call from the police, confirming our worse dreams that they have found the body. Thank you for sharing this emotional poem with us.
