A Different Goliath

A Different Goliath

A Poem by Carrie Montgomery

I am a Spiritual Sister of David,
God has chosen me.
I fight a different Goliath,
It's the world of TV:

Violence and Blasphemy, I see it every day.
Trying to lead me to temptation
Trying to deter me from "His Way".

The light and the truth are my weapons of choice.
My slingshot and stones are my Christian voice.

Brothers and Sisters, take my hand:
For Christ the King we will make our stand.
