If I Could...

It's a poem about wanting to get away from the world and trusting God to take care of you.

If I could

I would fly into the night sky

Catch a ride on a shoot'n star

And let it carry me far

Away

From this world

With it's sorrow and it's pain

I'd soar away

                                

If I could

I would hop into a small boat

Catch a ride on the leave'n tide

let the Lord's breath fill

My sail

Trust in him

To lead me on my way

I'd sail away

 

 

 

Author's Note

I have no idea where this came from. I think we all want to escape from the world. I guess this is an inturpretation of that. Tear me down, please!
