Inside..A Poem by CreativeCookieA poem about how I think all of us feel at times. It's dark and it's dreary in here. The black surrounds, Cutting off all sound. My heart beats fast and loud. I scream, And yet no sound comes out. Walls around me rise, My veins turn to ice. Panic takes control, My hands shake, My head aches. I beat at the walls, They don't fall. I'm trapped away inside myself, My mind my own cell. My hands are bloodied and torn. I scream my rage, My fear, Yet no one sees my pain. How? How can they not see? How can they not hear? How? How can they sit, smileing, Talking and laughing. Oblivious to whats right in front of them. Do they not see my shaking hands? Hear my anguished cries? How do they allow my pain to pass them by? How? Or more importantly, Why? © 2013 CreativeCookieAuthor's Note
