Do You Think They Hear It?

Do You Think They Hear It?

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

Your heart throbs with anger
Stifled heat spill trenchant words
That burst forth striking embers
Meant to burn,  can't be deferred.

Your heart seethes with protest
Arrows stike hard with content
No masks of impotent jest -
Direct is your message,  pungent!

Such intensity of this passion
I pray the lines won't forfeit
Those kings in their lofty positions,
Do you think they hear it?
