To The Beach I Must Go

I am dry as a leaf in this scorching heat
Where the wind must have forgotten to blow
Perspire like a sponge all down to my feet
My body so thirsty,  to the beach I must go!

To the beach,  to the beach!  Like a struggling crab
My mind so lost in these withering heights!
Feet on white sand, cold waters to grab
Like a seagull set free,  I must take my flight!
