HIS PURPOSE, HIS LOVE

If my words could have touched you
Given comfort,  somehow blessed
If these brief lines did undo
The pain, replaced with happiness
Then in some ways I have lived
With good reason,  for His purpose
Used this gift well and received
Double blessing,  I suppose
And my time that's more than gold
Through eternity, testify
That these written words were told
To give Hope to those who cry
Simple words that bring to life
Rainbows in some darkened sky
And some inner peace in strife
Prayer poems for you and I
With the last breath from my heart
I ask that I will have His peace
For on earth I've done my part
Shared the Love that's truly His.
