But Men Love Darkness

Light has come into the world
And Grace for forgiveness flowed
The Way for Truth unfurled
To all who would seek, it showed.

The Water of Life for all thirsty
Hope for the lost and the broken
Healing and peace given freely
And the Spirit's Wisdom for all men.

The thief on the Cross was first
He had nothing but Death awaiting
And yet the Savior saw through his thirst
His endless Love came forgiving.

Light has come to the world indeed
But men love Darkness and still refuse
To open the door of their real need
The Love of God they will not choose.
