Silence

Silence

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

Silence

It is to a man's advantage
To seek refuge in Silence,
If he has not met Knowledge
Nor acquainted Eloquence.

Rather than with lips, expose
His masquerade of Pride,
Emptiness of Wisdom shows
His Ignorance  inside.

"Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid,
than to open it and remove all doubt."
(Mark Twain)

Thank you Black Prince
Wow! profound and in my taste short, sweet and expressive. It is a unique tallent to express such emotion in few words!
