The Little Priest (Tanka)

The Little Priest (Tanka)

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

Met a little priest
He kneels in constant duty
Never goes amiss
With petitions,  ceaselessly
Reverend Praying Mantis!

Thank you Marie, I like looking at these insects dragonflies and fireflies too.
Reverend Praying Mantis is one of my favorite animals. No fear and can be dangerous to some species. I enjoyed the way you described a interest creature. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Thank you too Coyote. They are an endangered specie now.

I didn't know that. Here in Michigan there are many still.

That's good- it means there's still no radiation there :-)
