Come Before Winter

Come Before Winter

A Poem by cynthiabuhainbaello

He said  "Come before Winter,
Before the verdant trees go bare.
For winter winds that blow are bitter,
May cool the embers that now smolder.

Be here,  to finally complete me,
Confirm the love I know will stay.
Through changing seasons I may see -
A fire that burns till my ending day.

Be here,  I will give you sweet affection
That warm through many a winter chill.
Embrace you with such tender passion
When we're one at last... please say you will.

Come before Winter and be my Spring
Bless my world with your many colors.
No other reason I have left for breathing,
I love you...the one I've been searching for."
